What are the main steps to apply for the scholarship?

To apply, you must submit an application that includes your name, address, date of birth, GPA with proof, and a minimum of two recommendations. Please also indicate if you have applied for other scholarships and why you were denied, if applicable. A short essay highlighting why you are a good fit for this program, how you would use your education to help your community, what motivates you for public service, and what you have done to support your community so far.

Who is eligible for this scholarship?

This scholarship is exclusively for Michigan residents. The scholarship is for those persueing a career in Criminal Justice, Emergency Services (including EMT, Paramedic, Trauma Nurse), or anyone wishing to pursue a skilled trade (plumbing, electrician, mechanic, construction, machinist).

Are there any important dates or deadlines applicants should know about?
All applications are due no later than March 31st each year. Any applications submitted after 11:59 PM on that date will not be accepted.
